Los Angeles based producer Nick Alvarado and vocalist EVeryman have teamed to form Little Giants, who aim to make proper hip-hop music for your mind, body and soul. Pairing inspired, thought-provoking lyrics set over crisp, funky beats, the sounds of Little Giants harken back to the golden era of hip-hop. This release commemorates the memory of ?Nick 'Pumpkin' Alvarado, who touched thousands of people with his signature music productions and acclaimed DJ sets at top music festivals and clubs across the US and abroad. He tragically passed away on March 25th 2016, but his generous spirit and magical music will continue to live on.
To honor his memory, Nick's best friend and Little Giants production partner, Evan 'Everyman' Shafran, started The Little Giant Acorn Foundation for The Arts, a non-profit organization that helps children get started in music or the performing arts who otherwise could not afford to do so. Nick absolutely loved to share his passion for music and performance art with the next generation and nothing gave him more joy.
By purchasing this LITTLE GIANTS album you are helping to ensure that Nick's spirit continues to shine while ensuring that the next generations of 'little acorns' have the means to pursue their creative passions. It was always a dream of Nick's to have a vinyl record of his own. It serves as a symbol to our community that Nick 'Pumpkin' Alvarado will never be forgotten and to always let your light shine bright. <3

Trevor Wyatt aka Spiltmilk is madly passionate about sound, and he has surely been there to deliver the funkiest unique music possible in any style of house, disco, funk or hip hop.
As a producer, he has previously released on labels including Royal Soul BR, Super Hi Fi US, Nudiscool BR, OCD Records UK, and is proud to have released tracks with Neighbour on Homebreakin Records. Known for unique flavor and technical precision, JPOD weaves his skills through a variety of dance music styles. He is also notorious for remixing diverse genres such as gospel, bluegrass, folk, swing, blues, reggae and soul. His sincere enthusiasm and raw dancing energy tends to win even the most jaded of souls.
JPOD's life has always been rooted in music. He was raised on piano lessons, jazz and worship music and began experimentally producing in the mid 90s. He was then inspired by turntables and taught himself the movements of scratching before even touching a crossfader. In 1999 he began DJing and instantly adapted his musical ear to mixing while continuing to evolve his production skills.
In 2007 JPOD transitioned from turntables to Ableton Live in an effort to continue growing his DJ skills while stepping up his production quality. His style now fully encompasses live remixing, touch-screen effects and drum pad routines all while maintaining the unique flavor he has always had.
JPOD has released music on his own label Swing Set Sounds and on other labels including Addictech, Omelette, ESL, Muti Music, Fort Knox Recordings, Simplify Recordings, Jalapeno Records and more. He has released 2 LPs and a variety of EPs. Every year he also creates a remix album in a series called Bliss Coast in honor of Bass Coast festival. There are currently 8 volumes.
JPOD has toured festivals and clubs in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Europe and Costa Rica as well as across Canada. He guarantees to bring an interesting and innovative show with a little something you've heard before combined with something you haven't.
This new Little Giants release, 'AVERAGE JOES RESIZED,' continues to commemorate the memory of Nick 'Pumpkin'
Alvarado.
Little Giant Acorn Records was also established as a way to keep Pumpkin's music
alive, as well as officially release the duo's music which had never seen a 'true' release
until last year. The entire Little Giants back catalog is now available on all major music
platforms, including Beatport, ITunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Google Play and Amazon,
with 100% of profits from music streams and sales goes directly to aid the efforts of The
